Bald Hill Rd. Snowshoe Exploration

Snowshoe Exploration of the New Bald Hill Road Property
Saturday, January 20, 10am-1pm

January’s Easement Exploration Series brings us to the newly-acquired 93 acres of conservation land abutting Tin Mountain’s Rockwell Sanctuary in Albany, NH. Tin Mountain Conservation Center Teacher/ Naturalist Dexter Harding and Upper Saco Valley Land Trust President Doug Burnell will guide us as we explore the most recent USVLT & TMCC partnership land acquisition. We will be searching for animal tracks and other signs of wildlife, as well as identifying winter trees and shrubs.

Details & Directions:

Meet at TMCC’s Nature Learning Center in Albany, NH just before 10 am on Saturday, January 20th. Dress warm and bring water, a snack, and snowshoes if you have them. Need snowshoes? No problem, borrow a pair from Tin Mountain. Call 447-6991 to register. Pets on leashes welcome.
