Their restaurant has fine evening dining and the property is located near Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has put 138 acres in a conservation easement with the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust. This land protects a unique Appalachian mountain oak laurel forest.

The Nereledge has long been a center for the climbing and mountain biking community. It is also just several hundred yards from the Saco River for fly fisherman and an equal distance to the heart of North Conway for local dining and shopping. Ice climbers , women's rock day and fly fishing classes are all centered here. In the winter the Mount Washington Valley ski touring trails start just up the hill at Whittaker woods. This is a great location for all your recreational interests.

Ragged will have small donations on their branded clothing, which customers can opt out of if they wish. If you need a XC or back country ski wax or mount this is the place to head. The Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Center located at Ragged Mountain Equipment participates in Contribute to Place. In the past trails have been cut on the Osgood property, which is one of the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust's easements. The touring associations trails encompass many private landowner's properties. The views are fabulous from the Saco River flood plain and the trails are in close proximity to several Contribute To Place™ businesses and North Conway.

The Inn at Crystal Lake sits in the idyllic little town of Eaton. Nearby Crystal Lake offers a cool swim in summer or ice fishing in winter. The inn is well known for its Palmer House pub, fine dining and a series of opera nights. They run a shuttle to and from Stone Mountain Arts Center events for inn guests. Springtime brings birders to seek the returning avian species of the area. Anytime of year is great for a short hike or snowshoe up nearby Foss Mountain, which has commanding views of the entire valley and most of the easements of the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust.

The Ledges restaurant and Tullimore Tavern in the hotel have fine dining or pub snacks and are probably best known in the area for the impressive Friday night seafood buffet and Sunday brunches. Either spot is perfect way to end a day while looking out to spectacular views to the east of Mt Kearsarge or the Cranmore Ski area established in 1937. You will also be able to view several Upper Saco Valley Land Trust easements to the left and right of these peaks. Hiking and exploring Crawford Notch just to the north is readily available for the remaining three seasons. Hikes to Arethusa falls, Nancy Brook or to Sawyer Pond are all great for short family trips or moderate to difficult days out on extended itineraries.
