The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust recently purchased 99 acres of scenic, ridgeline property in Eaton, N.H. Our Foss Mountain Project enhances the existing scenic, recreational and ecological resources of the adjacent 341 acre property which is owned by the Town of Eaton.

Protection of the property will also provide public recreation and protect its scenic values, important wildlife habitat, productive blueberry fields and long term ability to produce forest products.

The Town of Eaton requested the Land Trust's help to purchase and preserve this important, community-defining resource. The Land Trust plans to permanently protect its conservation values with a conservation easement and donate the property to the town.

The total project cost is $340,000. The Land Trust needs your help to complete the fundraising for our Foss Mountain Project. Please make checks payable to: Upper Saco Valley Land Trust
