Chase Pond
In partnership with New Hampshire's Land & Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP), a conservation easement donated by Tin Mountain Conservation Center permanently protects 138 acres, including the restored circa 1800 Allard barn, Chase Pond, Chase Brook, associated wetlands and vernal pools and old granite quarries. The property, which abuts the White Mountain National Forest on Bald Hill Road in Albany, also includes an exemplary 14.5 acre Appalachian oak-mountain laurel forest natural community.
