The Fields on the Saco dining tent is comprised of round tables that seat eight guests. Seating for this event is unassigned and you will have the opportunity to sit with new people and perhaps discover a new friend. Enjoy the community atmosphere of the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust’s fundraising dinner, blending locally sourced fresh food from our farmers and delectable courses created by our talented chefs.

The Fields on the Saco is a farm to table fundraiser and some of the courses are paired with beverages that include alcohol. NH Liquor Licensing requires guests attending this event who are under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have adult supervision.

$85 for USVLT members; $100 for non-members 

Check out, in advance, the life-style auction experiences on which you can bid! A one night stay for two at the elegant Wentworth Inn, an overnight on Monhegan Island, learn the ins and outs of baking with your instructor formerly with King Arthur Flour Company,  enjoy an evening with Thom Pollard and an exquisite dinner for you and seven of your friends! The experiences for you and your friends are creative, unique and outright fun.

The Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, in partnership with Mount Washington Valley Eaters and Growers (MWVEG), presents the 10th Annual Fields on the Saco.  The Land Trust is partnering with MWVEG to highlight the role of local agriculture and to emphasize the importance of conserving of our area’s rich agricultural lands. 

The 10th Annual Fields on the Saco is sponsored by our event host The Barn at Merrill Farm, which is a wonderful New England inn nestled beside the Saco River in Conway. Originally the homestead of Thomas Merrill, a farmer and one of Conway’s founding fathers, the Barn is the perfect place to celebrate the harvest season.

The dinner will be held on Sunday, October 22nd. The event starts at 3:00 pm with locally-made libations, live music, hors d ‘oeuvres and auction items, followed by five enticing plated and paired courses, finishing with a grand finale dessert.

The evening will offer a wide array of culinary delights. New England chefs will be sourcing fresh, local ingredients and will pair regionally made spirits, beers, and wines with entrees made from sustainably raised dairy, meat, vegetables and herbs. The dinner will highlight both the creative talent of the selected chefs and our region’s best seasonal offerings.
