Wildflower Walk

Spring Ephemerals Walk

Saturday April, 29th– 9:45am-11:45am  –  Conway, NH

Spring has sprung and we are teaming up with Tin Mountain to start the season on the right foot. Come get muddy with us on the Kennett Conservation Easement (West Side Rd.) where we will tromp around the fields in search of the season’s first wildflowers: Blood Root, Wild Ramps, Trillium, and more! The Executive Directors of both organizations, Lori Jean Kinsey and William Abbott–both wildflower enthusiasts–will be with us to help us look for exciting signs of spring. Meet at 9:30 at Tin Mountain’s Nature Learning Center to carpool from Albany or park on site (1234 West Side Rd)  for 9:45. Look for the “Land Trust Event Signs”. Plan to spend a couple of hours walking the relatively flat but muddy surface. Wear high boots if you have them as we will encounter the Saco River and Moat Brook.  Call or email the Land Trust office with questions 603-356-9683 or info (at) usvlt.org.
