Wolf Moon Snowshoe - Canceled

This event has been canceled due to inclement weather.

**Unfortunately, due to the blizzard and frigid temperatures forecasted throughout the long weekend, USVLT regretfully has to cancel our January Easement Exploration Series. We hope you still get to enjoy the beauty of the "Super Blood Wolf Moon" Eclipse from the comfort and warmth of your homes.**

Join USVLT on the evening of Sunday, January 20th for the Wolf Moon Snowshoe Easement Exploration event! The full moon for January is known as the Wolf Moon, as it appeared, in colonial times, when the wolves howled in hunger outside villages. We will be meeting at the parking lot north of Woodchuck Fields on Carter Notch Road in Jackson at 6:00pm. From there, we will venture onto the Harding Conservation Easement via Jackson Ski Touring’s Woodchuck Trail by the light of the moon.

Thank you to Jackson Ski Touring for allowing free snowshoe passes for the evening for those who attend. Make sure to bundle up and bring your own snowshoes— we will provide the hot chocolate! In case of inclement weather, please check back on our website for news of any cancellation or rescheduling.
