Check or Cash

Please use US Postal Service. Envelopes must be postmarked by December 31 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes. Checks may be made payable to Upper Saco Valley Land Trust and mailed to P.O. Box 2233, Conway, NH 03818. Note: tax treatment of checks sent by FedEx, UPS or other private courier service is unreliable.

Online Gifts/PayPal

Online PayPal contributions must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET December 31 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes. Donate online.

Donor-Advised Funds

Please allow 3-5 days for account custodian to approve grant request. Funds must be received by December 31 to count towards USVLT’s 2023 fiscal year end.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Funds transfer must be initiated by 11:59 p.m. ET December 31 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes.

Mutual Funds

Processing times may vary, but can take anywhere between 2-6 weeks. To ensure processing by year-end, USVLT suggests initiating your request as early as possible. Assets must be received by USVLT by 11:59 p.m. ET December 30 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes.

Physical Stock Certificates 

Must be postmarked by December 31.

Electronic Transfer of Publicly Traded Securities

Processing times may vary, but can take up to 2 weeks. Please check with your financial firm on their processing lead time. Assets must be received by USVLT by 11:59 p.m. ET December 31 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes.

Wire Transfers

Processing times may vary, but typically take 3-5 days. Funds must be received by ​​​​​​11:59 p.m. ET December 31 to count as a 2023 gift for tax purposes. 

IRS Charitable Rollover

Processing lead times may vary. Funds must be withdrawn from donor’s IRA account by December 31 to count towards donor’s Required Minimum Distribution for 2023.
